I think that Apple has tuned into Microsoft–how? My iPhone was acting up-couldn’t get any sound out of the 1,300 songs sitting there. I rebooted–IT WORKED.

Best Buy announced today that it has acquired Napster for $121 million in cash. The company said that it will keep Napster
’s executive team and will leave the Napster service and its estimated 700,000 users in place without changing much in the near-term.

Seven Disappointing Things About the iPhone

Apple’s new iPhone promises to be 4.7 ounces of awesome. It promises to do everything the iPhone does well–surfing the Web, serving up music and movies, and letting you flick through your voicemail messages with a fingertip. Even before its release, there are some niggling issues–some minor, others major–that make the iPhone disappointing.

This is an interesting read, but even with the “7 flaws” of iPhones, I wouldn’t trade mine for anything out in todays market!

MPAA Says It Doesn’t Need Evidence to Convict Pirates

Only a few weeks ago, a University of Washington study showed showed how inaccurate the MPAA and RIAA
’s evidence gathering techniques are. Now, instead of improving their pirate chasing tactics, the MPAA simply claims they don’t need any evidence to bankrupt “alleged” copyright infringers.

This is scary. The cat’s out of the bag and he’s not going back in!
